Launch with plans

My little brother is very interested in all kinds of mechanisms and one day his friend bought a potato launcher to his school and he came home and asked our dad to buy him one too. Our dad said that he would enquire and tell him. When my father heard the cost of the launcher at the shop, he was shocked and told my brother that he could not have it because it was too costly and my father also told him that he would break it and ask for another one again. My brother tried pleading with him and promised him that he would not break it but my father did not give in and finally my brother gave up.
I actually pitied him and I told about this to my best friend and she told me to collect the potato launcher plans that are available for free from this website and make it by myself for my brother. I thought it was a good idea and got the plans immediately. I did not tell my brother about it because I intended to surprise him. The instructions were very clearly and I had the potato launcher ready quite sooner than I expected. I tested it and it worked wonderfully. My brother was very happy when he got hold of the launcher too.
